Review: Liz Earle Hot Cloth Cleanser, Rose & Cedrat Limited Edition

Last year I discovered the Liz Earle hot cloth cleanser after hearing the brand being raved about by Bloggers and Vloggers all over the internet. I’ve never been one for skin care routines and after starting Bessie club you’ll all know find a skin care regime was one of my highest priorities so I gave it a go. When searching for great new products on the market for 2016 I was excited to see they had brought out a new limited edition rose and cedrat cleanser especially for Valentines day and I couldn’t wait to give it a whirl.

Normally I like to try a product out for a bit longer then a couple of weeks but we are on a time limit here! Having tried  out the original product I think I can give you a good review of the new limited edition hot cloth cleanser.

I’ve never used a cleanser before which you apply to dry skin and was intrigued to see how well it would work. I have not got round to buying muslin cloths to use with the product so at the moment I’m using a good old flannel or a babies muslin which I cut into smaller squares (my poor attempt at being frugal). Now I’ve been using this cleanser a while I doubt I will use one that I need to apply to wet skin again. These cleansers always seem to leave me with water dripping down my arms and soaked hair by the time my face is wet and I haven’t even started to apply the cleanser yet.

The Liz Earle hot cloth cleanser comes in a great pump bottle which means no waste, simply pump out how much you’d like to use and no need to try and squeeze the tube to try and get the last of it out.  With no screw lid it means they’ll be no lid to loose which is some thing which always happens in this house usually to my tooth pastes or the children’s eczema cream.

I’ve been using the cleanser in the morning to freshen my skin and wake me up for the day and in the evening to help remove my make up and clean my face to avoid blemishes. The cleanser works wonderfully to remove make up with out too much scrubbing and I imagine even better with their cloths which are designed to act as a exfoliate and clean off the product. I have had the original product for 5 months and it is now starting to run out and at the £20 mark I think this is great value for a product I use morning and night.

The new beautiful romantic cleanser released for Valentines Day offers a floral, bright scent with a fresh and energising twist. Much like the original creamy formula it has delivered just want my skin needed. My skin looks much healthier and the red marks from my previous blemises have cleared up beautifully. what I think I love most about this particulate release is the rose scent. As a girl my aunt always had rose water in the house and so this fragrance take s me straight back to my childhood. I love rose scented products and I’m always likely to pick some thing up if it has this smell. cleanse and polish

The Liz Earle Hot Cloth Rose and Cedrat cleanser  comes in a 150ml pump with 2 pure muslin cloths  for £20.75. At the moment the Liz Earle site also offer free delivery on orders over £20 so this great product qualifies. So make sure you make some great big hint to your loved one this!
